Dominica, officially called the Commonwealth of Dominica, is an island country in the Caribbean Sea. Dominica is one of the youngest islands in the Lesser Antilles, and it is still being formed by volcanic geothermal activity.
Dominica is known as “Heaven on Earth” because of its seclusion/wilderness beauty; it is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. It is also home to the best quality of life in the area.
Before 1993, no one could apply for Dominican citizenship without living in the island nation. The Dominican government has changed its policy to attract investment to the country by considering citizenship for qualified investors, or individuals who make active contributions to the country.
